Our Working Dogs
The Guardians
One of our best investments was purchasing our majestic guard dogs. We acquired these powerful Anatolian/Great Pyrenees, Great Pyrenees, Akbash/Great Pyrenees, and Anatolian LGD’s, an interesting combination of beasts from working livestock farms, for the sole purpose to protect our Katahdins. We have never lost an animal to predation.
The Herders
Our Border Collies come from working lines, which means they have the right traits that allow them to be very good at herding sheep. They are happy to go to work any day with a strong desire to outsmart even the keenest sheep.
